Retreat Rules

We strive to provide you with the highest quality of pet care available. We take responsibility for caring for your pet seriously. We understand they are valued members of your family. We have the following policies in place to ensure that all of our guests are treated with care and respect.

* Mandatory dog vaccinations: DHP (Canine Disease, Parvo, Liver Disease) (validity three years), Leptospirosis (validity one year) and kennel cough (validity one year).

* You are responsible for providing this information to us prior to your pets visit with us.

* We cannot accept your pet without proof of these Vaccinations.

* We cannot accept any dog that is not spayed or neutered,as of 6 months old. This may also be done chemically.

* We cannot accept any dog that is pregnant or in heat.

* All guests must be flea-free, and flea treatment given i.e Front Line, Flea Collar etc.

* If your pet requires medical assistance during their stay, we will consult with one of our Vets.

* We reserve the right to seek proper medical attention from a vet if needed.

* The owner is solely responsible for any charges incurred.

*All damages caused by your pet to the property or belonging of Elegant Resorts,

i.e chairs, sofas. e.c.t. Will have to be paid for by the owner.

Attention all 4 Paws Elegant Resorts Customers

Please check your pets passport before coming to the 4 Paws Elegant Resorts Hotel.

The yearly vaccinations must be up to date !!!

Anyone who turns up with an out of date Pet Passport will be offered the follwing service.

The 4 Paws Vet comes to us and updates the vaccinations this bill will be passed on to you the owner. The cost of the vaccinations is about €121 there will also be a 4 Paws surcharge of €30.25 for this service.

If you do not want to use the service then you will have to take your dog away and update the passport before we allow entry to the hotel.

Please note that the yearly vaccinations must include the kennel cough vaccination (Bordetella)

If you are planning to use the hotel within 2 weeks the kennel cough vaccinations must not include the following, these are all given via the nose.

VERSICAN PLUS BbPi IN

VERSICAN PLUS Bb IN

The reason for this is these vaccinations contains the live kennel cough and this can spread to the other dogs in the hotel, causing them to cough!!!

Anyone who has had one of these vaccinations within 10 Days of bringing their dog to the hotel will be refused entry.

After 10 Days this is not a problem anymore.

If in doubt tell your vet to give the kennel cough vaccination via an injection this is safe and can not spread to the other dogs.

Between 09.00 and 19.00 if you need to bring or collect outside of these times, please contact us.

Reservation requests at Elegant Resorts are taken exclusively for your pet.

Cancellations of any kind impact us greatly. Due to the growing difficulty with late cancellations, the cancellation policy below is effective immediately.

If you make a reservation and choose to cancel it at any time, you will be financially responsible for the time you reserved if the hotel is full and other guests have been turned away. There are always exceptions to the rules so please call if you have a problem.

Reservation Alteration or Early Pick up

When you reserve a stay and return early for pick up, you are still financially responsible for the time you reserved.
